 Hey, I'm Alli! I'm 17 years old, and a rising senior at West Forsyth High. I've been playing soccer for almost ten years now. I learned to play during my season with Y.M.C.A. soccer when I was eight, then played for FORSYTH ROWDIES and then ASA.  I don't think my life would be the same without this sport.  I've tried many sports: gymnastics, field hockey, some rugby, and swimming. I still swim (not well) and coach swimming in the summer. However, I always end up choosing soccer over the others even when I don't speak the same language as those on my team. During my freshman and sophomore years, my family lived in Germany. I played for a German club team called Lipperode (Lip-a-road-a) and my school team. Fortunately I went to a British school so communication was somewhat easier.

We moved back to Cumming last summer. We live in the same house we left, so not much has changed. I went to West Forsyth High School and played defense for the varsity team. I mostly play stopper or center back if the formation is an offside trap. We had a great team this year, but unfortunately we got St. Pius in the second round of playoffs - we were just proud we weren't mercy ruled!  We ended up not being ranked, but I still believe we're still the forth ranked team we were at the end of the regular season. Even if nobody except our team believes it. I really hope that next year we'll be even better.

I love this sport and from what I've heard that's something I'll have in common with the girls on this team. I've played with teams that are actually individual players who don't work together... that's not a team. That's why I want to play for Fusion... I need a change and a group of girls who love the sport as much as I do.
