Hey my name is Jessi.  I go by JJ.  I am 15 but I turn 16 on August 23, 2009. Woohoo! Haha.  I am now a junior at West Forsyth High school.  I have been playing soccer for 8 years now.  I started playing for Forsyth Rowdies and then Fusion, and now I am still on Fusion, and looking forward to playing with the new team, and coach!  Every girl on this team seems really nice, and plays really well, were gonna kick some butt! Haha.  During my time in high school I have played on the soccer team every year.  In 9th grade I played on the Varsity team, and in 10th grade unfortunately my back got injured the day before tryouts, so I made the JV team, and healed up, and by the time we went to playoffs I was ready to play with Varsity.  In the past school year West accomplished a lot, we made it to playoffs but unfortunately were beaten out by St. Pius in the second round.  We had an amazing season!

Some people have dreams in life and just play soccer to play a sport, and stay skinny or whatever, but my dream is to play soccer when I grow up.  I don’t play just to play, I play because it’s my passion.  I also have been playing guitar for about 4 years now, I love to sing, and I have just started to ride horses.  I also love animals; I have 2 cats and 3 dogs. The cat’s names are Bob and Bobby, and the dogs names are Opal, Spike, and Ruby.  They are pretty awesome.  I love my friends and family, they mean a lot to me.  I would have never stayed in soccer if it wasn’t for my parents.  They always made me play a sport for 3 years and if I didn’t like it then I could quit, and I didn’t like soccer until the middle of the 3rd year, and now soccer is part of my life.  I also played basketball, gymnastics, and used to swim, but soccer was my favorite, and now that’s the only sport I play.  I also believe that everything happens for a reason and God has everything planned out in everyone’s life, you go through hard and easy times but you just have to have faith and get through them.

I can do everything through him who gives me strength- Philippians 4:13
