Hey my
name is Mackenzie but most of my teammates in the past have called me Mac,
probably because it’s a lot shorter and easier to say on the field. I’m
sixteen years old and I am a rising junior at West Forsyth High School. I
have two sisters; Kelsey is twenty years old and goes to school at Colorado
State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Sydney is 13 and goes to school
at Vickery Creek Middle School and will be in seventh grade in the fall. I
have a dog, Misha, who is a Shiba Inu and is five and a half years old. My
parents, Don and Rose, are very supportive of me in whatever I do, and have
been going to support me in soccer games for the past twelve years.
I’ve been playing soccer since I was four. My first season was at the
Y.M.C.A. in Lakewood, Colorado. I then played for a team called the Table
Mountain Cougars until fifth grade when I joined a select team called the
TMSA Ice. I played with the TMSA Ice until the end of eighth grade when I
moved here from Colorado. I’ve played on the high school soccer team at West
the past two years and on ASA rec, with Rachel, last year. My main position
is outside midfield, but I have played almost every position on the field.
I’m really excited to play with this team and I’m looking forward to the
season this fall! |
